Reasons to Be at Home

Present, but not there. The trick is a reason to be at the kitchen table that does not sound like a reason to be in bed.

1. 1 I'd be more use at a desk than on a train for two hours Plausible
2. 2 My commute has been cancelled on my behalf by the rail company Plausible
3. 3 I've got a call at eight and a call at six and nothing sensible between Plausible

5. 5 I've got an engineer coming and the window is the whole day Plausible
